Alaska Housing Stabilization and Recovery Phase II

Program Status

The Stabilization and Recovery Program Provides Short term stabilization resources, ongoing support and rental assistance to

Persons who are currently living in shelters

Persons who are currently sleeping outside

Persons who are victims of domestic violence, human trafficking or refugees

 Phase II will provide aid on a prorated basis determined by the program end date

414 households with 817 people are currently housed through program funds*

284 of the 817 people living in these rental or stabilization units are under 18 years of age

*1,478 additional households (w/ 2,820 people) have left the program after becoming self-sufficient or moving to a different program for support

Since the program start in February of 2022, the Stabilization Navigators have enrolled 3,701 households into the program.

Household Enrollment Facts:

- 462 remain active in the program - 3,239 exited the program

- 1,478 became self-sufficient or transferred to other program funds
