TEGALEGA BOOK CENTER Tegalega, Bandung City Status Type

: Final Studio Assignment : Public Building Book Center Public Space

Book center is a place that has the main activities related to books, with various supporting functions. the functions contained in the book center are divided into three basic activities : office, distribution, and book sales as the main function of a bookstore. Offices are used for publishers' offices, as well as function as submissions for printing and complaints. In addition, the center of the book must also be a comfortable place with various functions supporting key functions, such as parks and cafes.

Main Idea The main idea is based on orientation towards both roads and irregularly stacked shapes. the game forms each floor level as well as narrowing and expanding the shape that creates an attractive space. there is a park among the three masses as a surprise to pedestrians passing through the inter-building passageways. Pedestrian is very preferred, so the vehicle lane is only found in the rear area of the building, including the drop-off area that connects to the park.

ARCHITECTURE PROJECT

COMPACT HOUSE 1 South Tangerang (2019) Status Type

: Conceptual Project : Compact House

Limited land requires limited space but can meet the needs of its residents. Being on a land measuring 6x17 meters, the building consists of various functions that are combined in a small space, so that a limited space can accommodate several functions at once. Main Idea The main idea is determined from a space that can accommodate the main functions with a compact size. This requires that the available space is only primary or important space. Even some related functions are combined in a space but still pay attention to the privacy of the occupants of the building. Massing The mass of the building is divided into two main masses, where the front mass is a guest room and a balcony. The lower part has parking for cars and other vehicles. The two building masses are connected by an inner court in the form of a small park as a mass link. The second mass is at the back, consisting of the owner's privacy space. This mass consists of 2 floors + 1 mezanine. The ground floor is a family and guest gathering area, the second floor is the owner's privacy room which consists of a viewing room and a sleeping area. Mezanine is a small work space and library.

COMPACT HOUSE 2

Bintaro, South Tangerang (2020)

Status Type

: Conceptual Project : Compact House

Industrial minimalism is used as the overall theme of this building. The materials used in buildings use a combination of brick, concrete, and wood. Neutral colors such as black, white, and brown are applied to the building. There is a small garden at the front and back of the building for greenery. The inside is made high to give a broad impression. Window glass also gives a broad impression for the building Main Idea The main idea is to make a building with an area of 5x20 meters look wide and minimalist. The lower floor is a family room and dining room including a kitchen, with a small garden in the back to give a green impression. On the second floor there is a work space overlooking the garden, and two bedrooms with one bathroom

Material and Structure To minimize the budget and construction costs, the materials used are not finished and ornament is not important. The walls use brick with cement finishing, while the floors use cast concrete and parquet. The structure uses steel with a height of 2.4 meters per floor. The ceiling uses white gypsum and grc and the roof uses alderon.

INTERIOR PROJECT

MANANI KOPI

BSD, South Tangerang Status Type

: Complete : Cafe, Interior

Manani cafe is located inside the Prasetya Mulya University area, precisely in front of the library. The cafe is designed with a Japanese atmosphere which is the main theme of the cafe owner The location of the cafe at the end of the hallway requires the cafe to be seen eyecatching from a distance. The cafe room used to be a warehouse with a fairly small area. Inside there is also an access door to the pantry, and must pass through the cafe. The small area, circulation to the pantry, and the need for an area of the cafe are all the challenges in the design of this cafe Design The curved shape on one side makes the area a barista area. In the back there is the remaining space for the employee's room. There are 3 tables that can be folded for customers. large pipes contained in the ceiling tricked with black and then given a suspended ceiling underneath Facade Facade ideas are taken from torii (Japanese's gate) in Japan. Besides the Japanese design, the design is also eye-catching from a distance
