Summer 2012 Provincial Freemasonry Building for the Future Freemasonry in the Province is literally building on firm foundations as it moves towards a new Masonic season. Towcester Masons have purchased additional land adjacent to Towcester Masonic Hall. This land is now being used to extend and develop their Masonic Hall which will double in size as a result. In April, W Bro Richard Brice, Chairman of the Hall Management Committee, presided over a ceremony in RW Bro Max Bayes & W Bro Roy Humphrey which one of the most senior Towcester members, W Bro Roy Humphrey, with the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Max Bayes, laid the North East Corner Stone of the Hall extension. The Provincial Grand Master has also announced that contracts have now been exchanged for the purchase of our new premises in Sheaf Close, Duston, Northampton. Final completion is set for 27th July 2012. On an estate named Lodge Farm, Sheaf Close (no doubt containing an ear of corn) was perhaps destined to be the new home for Northampton Freemasonry.,
