The Process

Admin will reach out with instructions and offer help to separate RE license with DOL and accept invitation to new firm. At the same time, paperwork to submit will be provided.
• Submit paperwork & requested items to shop. Physically or submit to seattleeastside.evrealestate.com. •
Approve new business cards for admin to order, order any signage if needed, and schedule in shop orientation with admin. •
If listings need to be transferred, fill out NWMLS form 18 with OTHER checked and include: “Listing#XXXXXX,knownasADDRESSisbeingreleasedbyOLDFIRM(FIRMID#)and transferredtoEngel&Voelkers(FIRMID#)tobroker,YOURNAME(YOURLAG#)”. Email to listinginput@nwmls.com and CC contracts email.
NOTE: The new and old managing broker will need to sign at the bottom in the blank space.

During orientation we will go over the shop standards, tools and set you up with our systems (including copier, door codes, etc). We’ll do a thourough rundown of transaction and marketing processes.

How To Separate DOL Real Estate License from Current Firm
BELOW ARE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO SEPARATE FROM YOUR CURRENT FIRM. ONCE COMPLETED, NOTIFY NEW FIRM IMMEDIATELY TO BE ADDED TO NEW FIRM.
• Set up a SAW account at “https://secureaccess.wa.gov/public/saw/pub/displayRegister.do” if you do not already have one
• If this is your first time logging in, select “Add a new service”. If not, select “Access Now” above “PROFESSIONAL AND BUSINESS LICENSING”:
• Select “I would Like to browse a list of services by Agency” (skip step if already have an account set up)
• Scroll down and select “Department of Licensing” (skip step if already have an account set up)
• Once added to your account, Select “Access Now” in your Account section (skip step if already have an account set up)
• Once you get to the “Manage Your Professional and Business Licenses Online” page, select, “Link License” (skip step if already have an account set up):
• Once your license is linked (if you already have an account, your license will already be linked), select your linked license number:
• Then checkmark the current firm line item then select “Separate License(s)”:
• Notify new firm to be added to new DOL firm roster. Once new firm adds on broker via DOL, you will get an email to accept an invitation to your new firm. Once accepted, the transfer process is complete.
