For my Electronic Imaging course, we where assigned to make a minimalist poster for a book and/or movie. I choose the Blue Bloods Series by Melissa De La Cruz. She is one of my favorite authors and I'm a devoted follower of the book series. Basically, this is what I came up with. the only critque my professor said was the cutout of the eyes was too pixelated. I should of vectored the image in Illustrator, but I wasn't thinking about it at the time. I did the cutout of the wings and the eyes in Phtoshop. I also change the color of the wings in Photoshop. Then I designed the rest of the poster in Illustrator (background is two gradients that I combined together).
