HELLO_ I am Ghianne, I was recently an Associate Landscape Architect for AECOM Design, Planning and Economics (DPE-SEA) -Malaysia Office . I have more than ten (10) years of continuous and diverse work experience on various projects in Southeast Asia, East Asia and the Middle East. I am a registered Landscape Architect in the Philippines. I have great interest in design, people, culture and building technologies. AECOM MALAYSIA POSITION: ASSOCIATE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT MALAYSIA LANDSCAPE STUDIO DESIGN LEAD Lead project based teams as per project requirements. I was responsible for giving clear design direction and leading the team through the proper work-flows.

1.) The 2011 upbeat economy in Malaysia requires AECOM to bolster its landscape design team to prepare for significant project opportunities.

Determine required capabilities in the region and then develop a team accordingly.

- Created a strong team that managed to deliver high quality projects

2.) Vacancy in the marketing business development key personnel

Took up the task, help out the studio on business development work such us creating capabilities reports, fee proposals, updates on the business development strategy list and salesforce. Managed staffs to take on the BD roles and helped in bridging gaps between Singapore and Malaysia BD department.

Instrumental in securing the contracts for 5 projects, submitted +/-10 proposals, +/- 10 capabilities.

3.) Vacancy in the Malaysia studio design lead

Took up the role as studio landscape design lead on major projects, particularly help pitch projects with discerning clients.

It is planned to become an urban rainforest park with the objectives of: preserving most existing trees within the site, create a new desitination and enhance connectivity within and outside the park.

The design of the playground aims to create a natural playscape that harmonize and blend in with the rainforest. A very effective way to connect children back to nature through play.

The project features a lake and two streams, one cascading man-made water feature at the entrance and eight themed communal open spaces. The design aims to make the most of the landscape spaces functional and usable by the residents.

This mixed-use development is fully integrated within a block with three towers. Strong visual landscape statements serves as landmark and give identity to Mal Bekasi. Unique sculptural mounds at three main entrances enhance the entry experience.

The client’s vision for the outdoor tropical walk is a cool tropical refuge for the community with a resort feel. Meandering timber decking and “koi” ponds are surrounded by lounge areas. The resort ambiance is enhanced further during the night with fire torches along the tropical walk and floating lights in the ponds.

RIVER OF LIFE MASTERPLAN

MAPPING MY WORK CONTRIBUTION ON RIVER OF LIFE The River of Life is the flagship project of AECOM DPE Malaysia. Its the “best win” project of AECOM Global for the year 2015. Its the biggest project I was ever involve in terms of size, complexity in design, client servicing, both authority and public engagements and even political nuance.

Project under AECOM Malaysia ROL DESIGN GUIDELINES -Part of the team who made the design guidelines for ROL.

This project very dear to me having been involved since competition stage through winning the job and design incubation till execution on site. TITIWANGSA PARK (biggest open space in ROL) - Involved from design competition, concept, schematic, design development, tender documentation, tender award and value management. - Co-designer, responsible for design starting after concept stage till tender stage, based on masterplan design

ONE MALAYSIA PARK - masterplan rendering during competition stage

PUAH POND - masterplan rendering during competition stage

PACKAGE 3A & 3B - Involved during competition stage and after tender documentation stage - Provided technical design review after design development stage

OVERALL MASTERPLAN - I did most of the graphic rendering works for the entire masterplan during the competition stage. - I was responsible for setting the graphic standard for the entire ROL
