STAFF MATTERS

Update for Catskill Regional Medical Center employees, physicians and volunteers

September/October 2016

September/October 2015

A Message From Our Leader No matter what your role is within the walls of our hospital, you have a direct impact on patient care. A strong relationship exists between the caregiver and the patient – and a high quality patient experience depends on highly engaged employees. Throughout the year, we hold a number of town hall meetings that give employees an opportunity to discuss how Catskill Regional is working toward improving the health of our community. Two-way communication is always encouraged, but this is the time of year when we especially ask you to share your thoughts about providing care at our medical center through the annual Employee Engagement Survey. Dr. Gerard Galarneau CEO & CMO

We’ve partnered with Gallup once again and launched our Engagement Survey on October 17.

You should have received a survey invitation from Gallup in the mail at your residence. The invitation contains your unique employee code and a sample of the questions. Please take a few moments to participate in the survey online or by phone. When you take the survey, I ask that you consider your overall work experience at Catskill Regional as you respond to each question. All survey results are confidential. If you have any questions about the Engagement Survey, please ask your Manager or contact GHVHS Director of Organizational Development & Learning, Betsy Kennally, at 333-0227. Thank you once again for your dedication and support. Sincerely,

Gerard Galarneau, MD CEO & CMO
