Update for Catskill Regional Medical Center employees, physicians and volunteers

March/April 2018

A Message From Our Leader It’s hard to believe that the first anniversary of Catskill Regional Medical Group’s Monticello (Town of Thompson) Urgent Care and Primary Care office will be here in May. We are proud to share that we have already seen and treated over 10,000 patients! Additionally, our Urgent Care was recently accredited by the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA). Only six percent of urgent care facilities have this designation. This designation places them among a select few such centers across the country to have met all established criteria of the UCAOA. All three of our Primary Care offices have received the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). This recognition is rewarded to facilities for using evidence-based, patient-centered processes that focus on highly coordinated care and long-term participative relationships. NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication and patient involvement. Jonathan Schiller

Please make sure to visit and support your fellow healthcare providers and continue to refer patients to our primary and specialty providers whenever possible. The Urgent Care and Primary Care office is beautiful and spacious with 11,000 square feet, and is comprised of 12 exam/procedure rooms, laboratory space and state-of-the-art x-ray technology. Located at the intersection of Route 42 and Concord Road in the Town of Thompson, the office is easily accessible by patients traveling in either direction on State Route 17 and is within minutes of the casino. Our Group has offices in Monticello, Harris, Livingston Manor and Callicoon. It continues to grow as a multi-specialty, hospitalsupported Group with Board-certified doctors, Board-certified nurse practitioners and Board-certified advanced practice professionals providing outpatient and inpatient care. Our Group serves Sullivan, Ulster, Delaware counties and beyond. Please share this information with your families and friends so that we all can be committed to a healthier community. Sincerely, Jonathan Schiller, CEO
