Update for Catskill Regional Medical Center employees, physicians and volunteers

February/March 2019

A Message From Our Leader Our recent visit by DNV surveyors proved excellent as a result of their three day survey. Surveyors spent one day in Callicoon and a day and a half in Harris, and found that we have a clear commitment to excellence in patient care. We keep an exceptionally clean environment and our values are obvious, specifically Patients and Families First, Honesty, Integrity and Transparency in Action. Catskill Regional was fully accredited by DNV in August 2018 and is surveyed every year. Jonathan Schiller

My sincere thanks to all who answered the surveyors’ questions. Their team was impressed with the care we provide to our community. Congratulations to everyone.

If this assessment of our facilities wasn’t fantastic enough, the Greater Husdon Valley Health System was also recognized as one of the 2019 World’s Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere Institute, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices. This marks the second consecutive year that GHVHS has received this prestigious distinction. As one of only six honorees in the non-profit healthcare providers industry worldwide, this underscores GHVHS’s commitment to leading with integrity and prioritizing ethical business practices. Congratulations to our physicians and staff. You have earned this designation through your commitment to delivering exceptional care and service. Sincerely,

Jonathan Schiller, CEO
