Giancarlo Monteleone

Art as Liberty! In a world where obligations and preconceptions limit our spirit, I find that Art is our only ally able to break down the differences social, economic, geographic, intellectuals ... I was born in Palermo on 19 September 1988. Son of art, I immediately show interest in architecture and art in general. I live in a country of the Madonie in Sicily, growing in close contact with architecture thanks to my mother. Graduated at the Diego B. Amato Institute of Art in Cefalù (PA), where my interests are further enhanced thanks to the help and support of some of the Institute’s professors, especially Prof. Arturo Oliva, intuitive and wise Sicilian Architect. Currently studying Architecture at the Florence University. I also collaborated with studios working in the showroom furniture industry for big fashion brands. In all my ideas, the starting point is always the functionality, the constructive simplicity and the formal equilibrium.
