This dissertation seeks to examine and highlight contemporary theories and philosophies on digital morphogenesis, mainly through the work of the philosopher, writer and artist Manuel De Landa. His work affects modern conceptions of society and materialistic ontology within metaphysics, providing fertile ground for the development of a similar background to architects. In particular, the dissertation focuses on cases in which architecture emerges from interactions among small particles (smaller than the whole particles) and during which a continuous review of the result is performed.
