Gideon Leong

My passion is mainly in orchestral film music. Also a lover of Jazz, Latin and Gospel music. First studied music composition with Dr Marvin Johnson and thereafter with a film composer/orchestrator from Germany, Robin Hoffmann for scoring/composition/orchestration/arranging. It was a pleasure and an opportunity to study Jazz improvisation with a Jazz Vibes legend, Gary Burton and I scored a Distinction for the course with Berklee Music in 2011. My major influences are John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Bruce Broughton, John Powell,Oscar Peterson, Bud Powell and many more.
