Gill Bliss
Gill Bliss exhibits creative work in sculpture, drawing and animation/moving image. Her main focus is on ecological themes, which include the evolving relationships between living forms and their environments. She is interested in combining the aesthetics of both traditional drawing and digital manipulations, working with the patterns and rhythms that emerge in process. Gill worked in the stop-motion animation industry as a model maker for over 15 years and has also been an Associate Lecturer in Animation with many universities in the UK. Having gained a PHD from Loughborough University in 2017, she is at present teaching Animation Theory at University of the Creative Arts, Farnham, UK.
