Welcome to Gillispie’s Enrichment Program, 10 weeks of after-school learning and fun. Here’s the fine print:
● No refunds will be issued after the third class!
● All fees will be invoiced during the next billing cycle.
● Classes are first-come, first-served. Registration will continue until each class is full.
● Registration is done online at http://gillispieenrichment.campbrainregistration.com
● NO CLASSES: October 4 - 7 (Fall Break), Friday, November 1 (Preschool-Grade 6 Conferences).

Fun on the Field
Fun on the Field
In this class, students will develop their motor skills through engaging art and craft projects. They will create a variety of artwork using different materials and techniques. Children can explore their creativity while learning the fundamentals of art and crafts.
Book Art with Ms. Long Grades K-4, (Library Room), $310
Come make book-inspired art in the library! Each week, students will enjoy a classic children's book, taking time to observe and appreciate the illustrations Inspired by the illustrator's work, they will then create a unique piece of art. Students will explore a wide variety of artistic styles while flexing their creative muscles. All materials are provided
Flavors Around the World: A Culinary Workshop with Mrs Knight Grade Pre-K (Juniper, Willow, Sequoia) & Kindergarten, (Willow Room), $310
In this class, children will have the opportunity to prepare dishes from around the world and learn about the diverse, unique countries each dish represents. We will explore the cuisines of South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Join me as we discover various cooking techniques, taste exciting new flavors, and explore the beautiful cultures represented within our community!
*Please note that this class is not recommended for children with severe allergies. If your child has mild allergies such as lactose or gluten intolerance, please let me know in advance, and I will do my best to accommodate their needs.
Ninja Camp with Ms. Sunny Grades K-1, (Littles Cottage), $300
Your child's day at Ninja Camp will be filled with fun activities, skill-building exercises, cooking lessons, and delicious ninja snacks. During the 9-week program, we will teach them how to cook like a ninja, dress like a ninja (by creating a personalized ninja t-shirt with their name in Japanese!), write and speak like a ninja (by learning the Japanese language), paint like a ninja, and move like a ninja (by practicing beginner's karate). At the end of the 9 weeks, you're invited to join us for our exciting Ninja Party! No prior ninja experience is necessary
Red Scenes and Songs with Ms. Fillers Grades 1-6, (MPR), $250
Red and her nemesis must team up to go back in time and save both their moms. In this empowering story, there are journeys of self-discovery, empathy for others, and catchy songs Students will develop confidence and acting skills to step into larger-than-life characters, sing their songs, and work together as a team. Showcasing the hard work and dedication of our talented young performers, the final performance will take place on the last day of class: Monday, November 11.
Street Hockey with Coach Whelan Grades 3-6, (Sport court), $275
Join us for a fun, high-energy street hockey class! Learn and improve your stickhandling, passing, shooting, defensive skills, goaltending techniques, understanding of positions, and strategic thinking while getting a great workout. All equipment is provided, and eye protection is mandatory for all students. Players will use plastic sticks and hollow plastic pucks. Safety, sportsmanship, and fun are our top priorities!
Textile Arts with Dr. Mindy Grades 4-6, Art Garden & Bungalow, $300
This Session of textile arts will feature the medium of yarn! We will be knitting hats on a loom to donate to an organization for the cold winter months ahead. We will also experiment with yam art forms such as weaving, latch hooking, and wall hangings Join us to learn a new skill and have fun! All supplies included
Yoga Adventures with Mrs Law
Middles (Magnolia, Cypress, Rosewood) & Pre-K (Juniper, Willow, Sequoia), (Rosewood Room), $300
Join Mrs Law for a fun-filled yoga class, where each week your child will embark on a guided yoga adventure filled with imagination and movement. After the yoga journey, they will enjoy a delicious, healthy snack to fuel their growing bodies!

Arts & Crafts with Miss Anna Grade Pre-k (Juniper, Willow, Sequoia), (Magnolia Room), $300

Clay & Art Workshop with Ms. Walters Grades K-6, (Art Bungalow), $350, (10 students max)
In this clay and art workshop, each child will work on ceramic and art projects at their level of expertise with individual instruction. The autumn season will be an inspiration for many of our creations. We’ll be making useful objects as well as imaginative sculptures and artworks The students will also learn about works of art from other cultures and periods of history. Join us in the joy and fun of creating. All supplies included.
Karaoke Club with Mr Lawrence
Grades 3-6, (Room 10), $250
Let your voice be heard! Join us for some super fun karaoke sessions! Whether you're a singing superstar or just love to jam out with friends, this is your chance to take the stage and shine. We'll sing popular hits, share our favorite songs, and boost our confidence together It's all about having fun, making friends, and discovering the joy of music. So grab the mic and get ready to rock because every voice matters at our karaoke party!
Karate Kids with Maitera Karate Coach Sakura Grades 1 - 6, (Gym), $325
Get ready to embark on a thrilling and educational martial arts adventure that will not only enhance your physical abilities but also boost your self-confidence and discipline This Enrichment brings an exciting opportunity for kids to learn the fundamentals of karate from MAITERA Karate Sakura Knkumai brings a rich background as a personal martial arts instructor She has been training in traditional karate for over 20 years and represented the USA in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. MAITERA Karate is focused on building children's focus, discipline, and confidence. Each camper will be outfitted with karate gear to be fully safe in class.
Sports & Games with Ms. Hurley Grades K-5, (Field), $250
This FUN class will introduce students to popular sports and games loved by kids of all ages at Gillispie, giving them the confidence they need to join in on the action at recess From kick-bat and dodgeball to capture the flag, sharks and minnows, soccer, and more, we'll cover it all! Emphasis is placed on teamwork and sportsmanship, providing a great opportunity for everyone to play, learn, and grow together The best way to learn how to play a game is to PLAY IT!
Water World with Mrs Tarantino Pre-K (Juniper, Willow, Sequoia) & Kindergarten - (Field), $300
If your child loves water, then send him/her to Water World! Your child will be submerged in water activities such as water balloon toss, water bowling, and water sliding. There will be plenty of games to play but how many things can you make with water? Your child will also create a variety of art using water as well From painting with water to making discovery bottles, your child will love splishing and splashing in Water World! Bathing suits and towels are recommended
Whimsical Wonders with Mrs Herrera Middles (Magnolia, Cypress, Rosewood) & Pre-K (Juniper, Willow, Sequoia) - (Rosewood Room), $300
Ready for some bubbling potions and fizzy reactions? In this whimsical science class learning will seamlessly intertwine with laughter and play to aid in fostering a love for science and curiosity Through fun and hands-on experiments like dancing raisins, salt painting, or shaving cream play dough, the children will test out various reactions and get a deeper understanding of why certain phenomena occur in our world Join us for some fun!

Construction Club with Ms Leard Grades K-1, (K Cottage), $300
Welcome to Construction Club! In this club, we will challenge the kids to use their imagination to build with various materials including Legos, magnatiles, cardboard, blocks, and more We will learn to transfer our ideas to paper creating blueprints that the kids will use to bring their creations to life We encourage inventiveness, problem-solving, and creative thinking We will have the kids working on group and individual projects We will even work on special projects involving sandpaper, hammers, and nails!
Disney Days with Mrs Tarantino
Middles (Magnolia, Cypress, Rosewood) & Pre-K (Juniper, Willow, Sequoia), Cypress, $300
Everyone is a Mouseketeer while you spend an afternoon reading about your favorite Disney stories, then creating art or participating in an activity related to the story that day. Classic stories from "Cinderella" and "Pinocchio" to newly popular stories such as "Frozen" and "Trolls" are just samples of the many tales that we'll focus on from the Wonderful World of Disney. Be assured your child will be in a "Happy Place" on campus as their favorite Disney characters come alive through music, literature, creativity, and imagination.
Fiber Crafts with Ms. Long Grades 2-6, (Library Room), $310
In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of three different fiber crafts: knitting, crocheting, and weaving. Students will build manual dexterity while enjoying the satisfaction of making something by hand! This class encourages creative exploration and no prior experience is required. All supplies included.

Middles (Magnolia, Cypress, Rosewood) & Pre-K (Juniper, Willow, Sequoia) - (Rosewood Room), $300
Get ready to explore a world of vibrant colors and creative exploration with Mrs. Law. We'll embark on a journey through the rainbow by experimenting with various art mediums, textures, and techniques Each class will be a joyful exploration of a different color through hands-on sensory activities and art projects that they will take home when finished

In this delightful afterschool enrichment, little ones will gather to create and enjoy a tasty snack together, fostering their culinary curiosity and teamwork. After savoring their yummy treat, the fun will continue as we dive into a creative craft project, making beautiful keepsakes to take home This engaging enrichment class is designed to nourish their tummies and imaginations, providing a joyful and enriching experience each week.

Insects & Spiders with Ms. Sunny
Pre-K (Juniper, Willow, Sequoia) - Grade 1, (Magnolia Room), $250
Join Ms. Sunny, our resident insect and spider enthusiast, for an 8-week adventure where bugs come to life literally! In this hands-on enrichment, we'll dive into the fascinating world of creepy crawlies through stories, songs, and fingerplays. We'll also craft cool insect-themed projects and get moving with bug-inspired activities. By the end of our journey, you'll be buzzing with knowledge and might just become a certified Bug Pro! Snacks are on us! Get ready for some buggy fun Ms. Sunny can't wait to share her love of all things six-legged (and eight-legged) with you!
