Early Childhood Camp
Welcome to Early Childhood Summer Explorers!
Our Early Childhood camp is designed to provide a fun and engaging environment for young children to construct their own understanding of the world around them. We believe that children are natural learners who thrive in an environment that allows them to explore and discover at their own pace.
Gillispie Explorers gives early childhood campers the summer version of our hands on learning program that happens during the school year. We will be outside a lot with plenty of provocations to keep the campers curious all summer long, including sensory play, dramatic play, creating art, and plenty of water play.
Camp staff are all current Gillispie teachers who continue to nurture the learning journey of each child. Our experienced and caring teachers are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive community where children feel valued and supported.
Parents can expect to receive a detailed welcome leRer before the start of each session. The following items will be requested: Swimsuit & towel, sunscreen, lunch & snacks, sheet or blanket, change of shoes & clothing
