If you would rather not do this during the service, then the Goodplate will be at the back of church during teas and coffees, to allow you the opportunity to make your donation. Cafe Church, Sunday 21st July at 4pm with refreshments from 3:40pm. We are very much looking forward to Rev Les Nevin from Richmond Methodist church joining us. Coffee, cake, conversation and Compline. Contributions of cake or biscuits always welcome. The Prayer Group will meet today after Choral Evensong at 7.30pm. All are welcome join us in prayer. DATES FOR THE DIARY Wednesday 17th July – Woman’s Fellowship. Our July meeting will consist of a visit to Mainsgill. We will meet at the Friary Gardens for transport at 2.00 pm. Any queries ring Joy on 826490. Sunday 21st July, 3.00-5.30pm, The Friends of Marrick Priory will be holding their annual Strawberry Tea at the Priory. Everyone is welcome. There will be a free minibus shuttle between Grinton Field, Reeth Bus Stop and Marrick Priory at regular intervals from 2.45pm. There will be outdoor activity sessions, refreshments, a raffle and music. Come and see what Marrick Priory provides. Sunday 11th August at 6.30pm Songs of Praise service at St Mary’s, followed by refreshments. Come together to sing some favourite hymns. If you would like to sing in the ad-hoc choir you would be most welcome. And if you would like your favourite hymn to be included please speak to Martin, Gillian or Chris. Sunday 18th August at 6.30pm Free to Be at St Mary’s – a quiet and beautiful space just to be with God, thinking and praying. All are welcome.


Saturday 24th August – St Mary’s Church Plant and Produce Sale. Our annual sale will soon be upon us. Could all our gardeners and allotment holders please pot up any spare plants in readiness for the sale. If you have spare plant pots or jam jars please bring them to church and if you need pots or jars please help yourself. Last year the produce, jams and chutneys etc sold out very quickly, so please, if you could donate any of these we would be most grateful.
