Siân is to be ordained Deacon by Bishop Nick Baines on Saturday 29th June at 3pm in Wakefield Cathedral. Siân has 20 tickets for parishioners from our Benefice. If you would like to be able to support Siân at this special service, please add your name to the list on the table at the back of church. Fun-Key Church is next week at 4pm when we will be holding our annual Fun-Key Church Passion Play. This will involve retelling the Easter story all the way from Shrove Tuesday through to the Resurrection. Informal, meaningful and fun. Do join us and why not bring a friend. And, if you would normally sing or play in the all age worship group we'd love if you could come along and join in the singing. All are welcome.

DATES FOR THE DIARY Saturday 27th April 7.30pm at St Mary’s Church. Richmond Choral Society are performing Dvorak Stabat Mater. Tickets are £12 from richchoral.org.uk, Castle Hill Books or via Choir members. Sunday 28th April at 11.00am - Easter Bunny fun run, walk or toddle. In conjunction with Liberty Club Richmond, Swaledale Runners, St Mary's Church and supported by Richmond Town Council. Fun Run: 2.5 mile trail along the old railway track and past the picturesque Easby Abbey, to finish at St Mary's Church. Little ones toddle to the railway bridge for a game of Pooh Sticks and return to St Mary's for refreshments. All abilities welcome to take part and have fun! Finish at St Mary's Church to collect medal and have a soft drink or cup of tea/coffee. £1.00 entry fee payable when number is collected on the day.
