Christmas Food and Gift Fair (Ripon Cathedral) Fair Trade Big Quiz Muker Band, Welcome Christmas Concert
Muker Band, Welcome Christmas Concert Once again the Muker Band will be performing a concert here at St Mary’s to welcome in Christmas on November 30th further details to follow. Listening for Life A four session course taking place on two Saturdays, 16th and 30th November 2013, from 9.45 am – 4pm at Greyfriars, Richmond. Being taught to listen well promotes healthy lives and relationships and can bring clarity, empowerment and self-esteem to others. Application forms need to be submitted by 2nd November, and are available from Jennifer Patrick, Tel: 01748 850693. Fun-Key Church Hudswell Next Sunday at 3pm Fun-key Hudswell will be on the theme of Remembering. This month is a little different as it will start off in the village hall and after the first part of our service and some refreshments will continue at the Jubilee Garden by the plaque marking the Hudswell Air disaster. Here we will hold an act of remembrance during which Rev'd Antony will play a lament on the bagpipes. Please ensure you wear warm clothing. All welcome. BGNC Diwali Evening The British Gurkhas and Nepalese Community (BGNC) are holding their annual Diwali festival in Colburn next month as part of their community integration programme. The festival known as the festival of lights is their most important festival. Tickets £6 to include a drink and plate of traditional Gurkha food. (Under 10s free). Launch of joint transition website for new diocese There is a new website to bring everybody in the diocese up to date with progress on the move to become a new diocese.
