This morning’s service is for everyone and if needed there is a children’s area at the back of church. There is an induction loop system in the church for those who would find it useful.

Anne Simpson, RIP. Anne died peacefully at home on Monday 6th January. Although this has come as a shock to us we can be thankful that she did not have to suffer any longer than she did. Her funeral will be on Thursday 23rd January, 2:00pm at St Mary’s. Home Groups. The Wednesday night Bible study group will meet this week on Tuesday 14th!!! We will go to the Agape meal at the Catholic Church Hall on Wednesday the 22nd and resume the meetings at 7.30pm the Lunns, 2 Hurgill Road on Wednesday 29th January.

Recycle your used stamps for The Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Please put your used stamps in the box on the table at the back of church. Please leave approximately one centimetre of envelope or packaging around each stamp. Every stamp helps save lives. Knit2gether meets on Fridays between 10am and 12 noon. A weekly knitting, crocheting and hand sewing group. This group meets in the Restaurant at Greyfriars. All are made very welcome. The Alzheimers’ Society are holding an hour long session at Mercury House, Station Rd, DL10 4JX, giving people an understanding of Dementia and the small things that we can do to make a difference. Run by our Diocese, it is designed to help us look at what it is to be a welcoming church and how to enhance the welcome we already give. Wednesday 22nd January at 7.00pm.
