The GoodPlate is a new kind of collection plate that accepts “contactless” offerings. Simply tap your card against the plate to donate £2 (or you can easily enter any other amount). Boiler appeal Work has now been completed on the two boilers, the cost of boiler repair and refurbishment is £4000. Please help if you can. Recycle your used stamps for The Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Please put your used stamps in the box on the table at the back of church. Please leave approximately one centimetre of envelope or packaging around each stamp. Every stamp helps save lives. After the Cards. Bereavement is a very difficult time for those left behind. Carrie and friends would like to help you with the next step by meeting any recently bereaved spouse/partner for coffee in The Fleece on Wednesday 8th January at 1.30pm. Please phone Carrie on 850103 for more information. This is a very informal and relaxed atmosphere. Knit2gether. On Fridays in between 10am and 12 noon. A weekly knitting, crocheting and hand sewing group. This group meets in The Restaurant at Greyfriars. All are made very welcome. The Alzheimers’ Society are holding an hour long session at Mercury House, Station Rd, DL10 4JX, giving people an understanding of Dementia and the small things that we can do to make a difference.
