Christian Listeners is an Acorn Christian Healing Foundation resource offering training in listening attitudes
and skills through a variety of courses which are led by trained tutors. Being taught how to listen can bring empowerment, clarity and self esteem, and promotes healthy lives and relationships. This is in aid of the Amala Trust and her school visit to the Amala Children’s Home in Southern India. The Children’s Home provides accommodation and schooling for boys and girls from some of the most deprived families in a remote rural area of Tamil Nadu. ****************************************************** Women’s World Day of Prayer is interdenominational and is taking place on Friday, 7th March 2014 at 2.00pm, in the Methodist Church. This year the service has been prepared by Christian women of Egypt. There will be a practice at 2.00pm on Thursday 27th February at the Methodist Church for all those interested in taking a speaking part during the service. ****************************************************** Olive Harrison would like to thank everybody who volunteered, donated and attended her Coffee Days and helped raise £670 towards the Disability Access Toilet. ****************************************************** A five session ecumenical discussion course ‘BUILD ON THE ROCK’ (Faith, doubt – and Jesus) begins w/c 10th March 2014.
