Friends of Marrick are hosting an illustrated talk Emperors & Icebreaking: Our Visit to the Antarctic. Tickets £5 including glass of wine, available from Judith Clarke (01748 826793). Saturday 5th April at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Spring Concert with the Station Singers for the Friends of Marrick Priory. Tickets cost £8 (£10 on door) to include refreshments, children under 18 free. Tickets available from Christine Steadman (01748 824664) Sunday 6th April at 7.00pm in St. Mary’s Parish Church. A charity concert in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research by Reeth Brass Band supported by Brompton on Swale Ladies Choir. Admission is free with a retiring collection for Yorkshire Cancer Research. Saturday 12th April, 9.30 -12.00noon The Big Spring Clean in St Mary’s Church. If you are a tax payer please place your cash donations in the yellow gift aid envelope and complete the details.
