We commend unto God’s merciful keeping those who have recently died, including Annie Littlefair. We pray that God will bring comfort to all who mourn her loss. Your ‘thank you’ cards are at the back of church, with the total you collected. The final total collected by St Mary’s will be announced in a week or two. If you have not received an envelope through the door or your envelope has not been collected, there are envelopes and a box to put them in at the back of church. Don’t forget that all donations can be gift aided so that tax can be recovered.


Fun-Key Church Ascension is today at 4.00pm, with refreshments and activities from 3.40pm. We will be exploring Ascension through hymns, stories, songs, craft, quiet places and prayer. Very relaxed fun, faith and fellowship for all ages. All are welcome. Please see Rev John for more details. Friday 13th June The Friends of St Mary’s are holding a Social/Fundraising BBQ in aid of the Disability Access Toilet Fund. Weather permitting it will be in the rectory garden. Tickets, £5 adults and £3 for children, are available from Margaret Emmerson, Claire Murray, Liz Chambers or any committee member. Donations of salads and puddings will be very welcome. Squash will be provided but please bring any other drinks you require and a glass to put it in.
