Do stay for refreshments after the service. This morning’s service is for everyone and if needed there is a children’s area at the back of church. Lord’s Prayer and Communion Cubes for children are available for anyone to use during the service. Please just ask if you would like to borrow one.

Many thanks to Margaret and David Willey for allowing us to invade their home for a delicious Fund Raising Supper. It raised £643.34 towards the Disability Access Toilet Fund.

Also thanks to all who contributed in any way to the success of the church coffee morning which raised £400.57.

Fun-Key Church @ St Mary’s is today at 4.00pm, with refreshments and activities from 3.40 when we celebrate traditional Mothering Sunday. With daffodils, stones, marzipan, hymns, prayers and quiet space, there is something for everyone. Very relaxed fun, faith and fellowship for all ages. Traidcraft stock will be available. The Friends of St Mary the Virgin will be holding their AGM on Thursday 24th April at 1.30pm at the Rectory.

Membership is for anyone who is on the Electoral Roll of St Mary’s and we would love to see you.

Saturday 5th April at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Spring Concert with the Station Singers for the Friends of Marrick Priory.

Tickets cost £8 (£10 on door) to include refreshments, children under 18 free. Tickets available from Christine Steadman (01748 824664) Sunday 6th April at 7.00pm in St. Mary’s Parish Church. A charity concert in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research by Reeth Brass Band supported by Brompton on Swale Ladies Choir. Admission is free with a retiring collection for Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Saturday 12th April, 9.30 -12.00noon The Big Spring Clean in St Mary’s Church. Ann McDonald will be there with refreshments-tea, coffee, juice etc. for all willing helpers.

Please bring your own dusters, polish will be provided.
