Next Sunday at 4.00pm Free to Be at St Mary’s Church. A contemplative worship space that gives us the opportunity to think, pray, awaken our senses and simply be with God in the candlelit, inspiring space of St Mary’s. There will be a simple Eucharist at 4.45pm which everyone is welcome to join. The service is ‘free flow’ and you are welcome to join and leave at any point.
The Station Singers present a Spring Concert on Saturday 28th March at 7.30 in St Mary's Church. Tickets are £8 in advance, £10 on the door, children free. Tickets include wine and canapés. With kind support and to benefit the Yorkshire Air

DATES FOR THE DIARY Thursday 12th March 7.30pm Gilling West Gardening Society starts its new year programme with a talk in the Village Hall by Sarah Hopps (of BBC Radio York and Askham Bryan) on ‘Gardening to Delight the Senses.’ £3 for the evening, £10 for the year. The talk and plant sale will be followed by the AGM & refreshments. More information from Susan Wallis 518575. Wednesday 18th March 2.00pm Women’s Fellowship Easter Service in the Town Hall. Thursday 19th March 1.00pm at St Mary’s, a Memorial Service for Joan Graham, who worshipped at St Mary’s before her move to Penrith, followed by tea at the Richmond Cricket Club. Everyone is welcome.
