Richmond's Old Bells: new service in new places. Many of you very generously contributed to the cost of sending our 1862 tenor bell to South India. At last it is on a ship on its way! It would be lovely if as many as possible could sign the card at the back of the church sending good wishes from all of us at St Mary's to the people of Chemmallammattam where the bell will continue its life summoning people to worship. Meanwhile our two trebles have also been found a very deserving new home. They have been donated by the Keltek Trust (a charity that acquires surplus or redundant bells and recycles them to other churches) to St Faith's church in Dorstone, Herefordshire. To read about the Dorstone project, visit their website pages at: https://stfaithsdorstone.wordpress.com/whats-happeningnow/ Reminder:- Could all who are writing Annual Reports in readiness for printing for the APCM please send them to Claire by Monday 5th February.
