If you are interested in Richmond history come along and find out how you can volunteer to be part of the group’s work led by Zoe Dodds, Richmondshire Museum Curatorial Officer. After the cards and visitors Bereavement is a very difficult time for the spouse/partner left behind. Starting again on your own is even more difficult. Carrie and Anne will be meeting in the Greyfriars Restaurant for coffee and a chat on 6th September at 10.30 and would really like it if you could join them. “Coffee Morning in aid of church funds on Thursday 8th September in the Town Hall. Offers of help please to Jennifer Patrick, 850693. Come and enjoy a coffee and natter with your friends. Big Clean” in church September 10th, 10.00am onwards. Refreshments will be provided during the morning with a Faith Lunch around 12.30. Please support even if you are only available for a short while. Choral Evensong at Ripon Cathedral Sunday 11th September If you are planning to travel on the coach. Please pay £5.00 per person to Margaret Emmerson (825381). Many thanks to Julia Robertson who has been organising the flower rota and all things to do with flowers for the last six months. Katrina Templeton has now taken on this task and will be in contact with all those on the rota in the near future to introduce herself to them. Café Church at St Mary's meets again on Sunday 18th September at 4pm with refreshments from 3.45pm. We look forward to welcoming Rev Canon Judy Hirst. She is a lecturer, author and priest based at Durham and has written books including the really excellent “Struggling to be Holy”. A very relaxed service combining talk, round table discussion (if you wish), refreshments, cakes and closing with the quiet time of compline. Everyone welcome.
