After the cards and visitors Bereavement is a very difficult time for the spouse/partner left behind.

Starting again on your own is even more difficult.

Many thanks to Julia Robertson who has been organising the flower rota and all things to do with flowers for the last six months. Katrina Templeton has now taken on this task and will be in contact with all those on the rota in the near future to introduce herself to them. Café Church at St Mary's meets again on Sunday 18th September at 4pm with refreshments from 3.45pm. We look forward to welcoming Rev Canon Judy Hirst. She is a lecturer, author and priest based at Durham and has written books including the really excellent “Struggling to be Holy”.

A very relaxed service combining talk, round table discussion (if you wish), refreshments, cakes and closing with the quiet time of compline. Everyone welcome. Please see Wendy or Gillian for more information or if you are able to bring cake.

Silent Auction Saturday 24th September 2.00pm-3.30pm at St Mary’s Church. Please look out any items you can pass on to The Friends of St Mary’s for this event.
