The Charity of the Month today is for Mercy Ships, which provides the world's largest charitable floating hospital, bringing free medical care to some of the world's poorest people. It's staffed almost entirely by volunteers. A supporter of the charity has agreed to double every donation received before 31st December. Our contributions can make even more difference than usual. BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE – Any names to be entered in this Book should be given to Ann McDonald (01748 823223) along with the date of death and a donation of £5 After the cards and visitors Bereavement is a very difficult time for the spouse/partner left behind. Starting again on your own is even more difficult. Carrie and Anne will be meeting in the Greyfriars Restaurant for coffee and a chat on Tuesday 6th December at 10.30 and would really like it if you could join them. Thank you to all who volunteered and attended the Christingle Service last Sunday, which raised £272.18 for The Children's Society. Thank you also to everyone who helped and came to the church coffee morning, which raised nearly £300 for church funds. There is no bible study at the Lunns house this Wednesday (7th Dec) but there is the following week (14th). WANTED! Able-bodied men and women to help with removal and installation of the new Saint Mary's bells in March and April 2017.
