BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE – Any names to be entered in this Book should be given to Ann McDonald (01748 823223) along with the date of death and a donation of £5 Christian Aid Week 10-16 May To all collectors: your envelopes are at the back of church together with your Guide to collecting. Do remind people that they may Gift Aid their donation if they are a tax-payer - it makes a big difference to the final total. Many thanks to all of you who have volunteered for this very important act of solidarity with Christian Aid's work to bring an end to
poverty around the world. It's not too late to volunteer today; we still have several streets without a collector. Have a word with Anne Simpson after the service, or phone her today on 822277. Please return your bag to church next Sunday or phone if you can't be in church and she will collect the envelopes from you. Friends of The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin A reminder that Membership is open to all those whose names appear on the Electoral Roll. The case of the Missing Baskets The baskets which are used to hold the flowers on Mothering Sunday have gone missing from the flower cupboard. There are 5 small baskets, none of which have handles - three rectangular ones (one quite large and deep – the others much more shallow);one round and one oblong. If anyone has borrowed them I’d be grateful if you could return them or if you know of their whereabouts please point me in the right direction. With thanks, Jane 01748 850309. Also several pedestals have disappeared from the Flower Room and Boiler Room over the last two or three weeks. ************************************************
