If you would like to donate to Christian Aid this Christmas there will be a poster at the


back of church on which to put your Christmas greetings to friends in the congregation. The money you would have spent on cards can then be given to Graham Merlane, Anne Simpson or Judith Barber who will send it to Christian Aid on your behalf. A reminder also that the Christian Aid Coffee Morning is fast approaching – it is on Saturday 21st January. Please keep any unwanted gifts to put into a lucky dip!

Advance Notice – We are planning to hold a week long Flower Festival in St Mary’s next June. The aim is to start on Friday 9th June with a preview evening and finish on Sunday 18 th June with a Thanksgiving Service. Local businesses, schools and organisations will be approached in the coming months to establish if they would like to participate and present, sponsor or donate to an arrangement. Flower Arrangers and volunteer helpers, if you are interested in contributing in any way, Katrina Templeton would love to hear from you. Everyone welcome to this fun, sing along evening of Carols and Christmas Favourites.


Friday 23rd December 7.00pm The Company of Mercers, Grocers and Haberdashers and the Fellmongers Carol Service followed by mince pies and mulled wine. All welcome Wednesday 18th January 7.00pm Christians Together In Richmond Agape Meal to be held in the Roman Catholic Church Hall. Thursday 19th January 12.00pm First Thursday Prayers are being held on this date as it is the week of Christian Unity. Tuesday 31st January 2.00pm the Mothers’ Union Christmas party in the Methodist Church Hall. Please note it is not at Greyfriars as stated in the magazine.
