DATES FOR THE DIARY Sunday 19th October Joan Plowman will have the Fair Trade Stall at the back of church. Palestinian Olive Wood products will be available on Sunday 26th October. Friday 17th October The Friends of St Mary’s Quiz to be held at the Cricket Club 7.30pm onwards. Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for children to include a pie and peas supper. The St Mary’s ringers will serenade us with some Handbell ringing during supper. Tickets from Margaret Emmerson, Frank Gibbon or Liz Chambers. Saturday 18th October Christian Aid Coffee Morning in the Town Hall. St. Mary’s slot is 10.40am - noon. We need people to serve coffee, wash up, provide tombola prizes (we are committed to providing 20) and cakes. Please let Judith Barber or Anne Simpson (822277) know if you can help in any way. The weekend of 18/19th October is a special Hunger and Justice weekend of prayer and action for Christian Aid standing alongside the millions around the world affected by our changing climate.
