Thank you to all who donated to The Charity of the Month collection, raising £158.33 for The Samaritans, who offer support to people who are suicidal or despairing, 24 hours a day, every day. Holy Trinity Chapel will be open every weekday in August from 12 noon – 1pm for quite prayer and reflexion.

DATES FOR THE DIARY Sunday 20th August at 4.00pm. The speaker at Café Church will be Margaret Jefferson, the retired Director of St. Cuthbert’s Hospice, Durham. Monday 21st August at 7pm. Richmond with Hudswell PCC is meeting in St. Mary’s Church. This is to continue the work on the Profile and Brochure in preparation for the Section 11 meeting with the Archdeacon on Monday 11th September, also at St. Mary’s Church. Tuesday 22nd August. Collating and stapling of the September parish magazine at the usual time. New volunteers always welcome. Please contact Keith Robson for further details. Many thanks to all who carry out this important task it is very much appreciated. August 26th 2017: from 11.30am - 2.00pm. As part of Georgefest there will be Drop-in workshops, designed for all age groups, led by theatre professionals, to celebrate our 1739 Georgian bell. Explore bells and bellringing through design, poetry, music and movement. These workshops are free, sponsored by Heritage Lottery Fund. The workshops will be different from those already run in Richmond schools recently and will produce collaborative, community pieces of work ranging from collage, through poems, to tunes and dances, all inspired by bells and bellringing. Come to the church and just join-in! Then from 2.00pm-4.00pm Tea and Coffee will be served at the back of the church and guided tower tours will be available.


Sunday 10th September at 6.30pm. The Mayor's Civic Service. We look forward to welcoming our mayor, and many civic dignitaries from around the area.
