PRAYER REQUESTS Please pray for: Those mentioned in the Daily Prayer Calendar in the magazine. All those in particular need of God’s comfort and healing, including, Liz Atkinson, Margaret Barrett, George Bell, Harry Bell, Robert Chandler, Caroline Conway, Margaret Grady, Mary Hartnell, Tim Harris, Anne Holland, Liz Metcalfe, Jennifer Mole, Vera Newman, Joyce Robertson, Carole Ward, David Whittaker and all the patients at the Friary Hospital. We commend unto God’s merciful keeping those who have recently died including Dorothy Walter, Fred Jary, John Rucroft June Hart-Davis, Dorothy Espin and Cliff Herbert. We pray that God will bring comfort to all who mourn their loss. Last week we said 'Good-bye' to Phil and Sheila Pearson before their move to Northumberland. We presented them with a book with inserts signed by members of our church family. If you were not able to sign these sheets (eg you were not here last week) then there are spare cream sheets at the back for signing. I will send them on to Phil and Sheila in a couple of weeks. Any questions, please ask - Scott. Christians in Richmond is hosting a hustings in Richmond School on Wednesday 17th May at 7pm (doors open at 6.30pm). Everyone is invited to attend this event. An opportunity to be the first to view the flower exhibits freshly created. Tickets for this event will be on sale from 12 May 2017. Available from Castle Hill Bookshop, The Flower Studio, Finkle Street or Katrina Templeton. £5 to include a glass of wine and lite bite on arrival. During the evening Caroline Brannigan, Memoir writer and interviewer will present and Lucy Hutton-Smith, a local NAFAS flower arranger, will demonstrate. Flower Festival Stewards 10-18 June 2017 Would you be able to volunteer to cover part of the rota to steward the church during the festival?. The main day is Saturday 10th June 10.00am -6.00pm in one or two hour blocks of time. There is a rota at the back of the church. Please have a look at it and sign your name and phone number if you can cover any time slot even for just an hour.
