The pop up gallery is open now at 10B Frenchgate, 11am-4pm Tuesday to Saturday and 1pm-4pm Sunday. It is being staffed by volunteers and is only open until Christmas. A share of all the funds raised will go towards the Accessible Toilet Fund. Fun-Key Church @ St Mary’s Richmond is next Sunday at 4.00pm, with refreshments and activities from 3.40pm. We will be exploring “Our Journey”. This is relaxed fun, faith and fellowship for all ages. All are welcome. There will be a simple Eucharist during the evening which everyone is welcome to join. Doors open at 7.00pm and the event ends at 8.30pm, as the event is ‘free flow’ you are welcome to join and leave at any point. The Eucharist will be at 7.45pm. Harvest Produce Although it has taken some time, there is now a photograph on the notice board showing the (very young) smiling faces of some of the recipients of our gifts, which were taken to The Beacon Project. DATES FOR THE DIARY Saturday 22nd November St Mary’s Church and the Richmondshire Museum are holding a joint Coffee Morning in the Town Hall. Proceeds are to be divided equally between the Accessibility projects at both locations.
Tuesday 25th November There is no set Mothers’ Union meeting but there will be a group of us in the Kings Head from 2.00pm onwards for anyone who would like to join in with tea or coffee.
Wednesday 3rd December The Diocesan Mothers’ Union Service in Wakefield Cathedral. A bus will leave Leeming at 10.30am and return there about 5.00pm at a cost of £8. Please contact Margaret Clayson if you would like to go. Saturday 6thDecember 8.00am–12.00 Coffee Morning in the Town Hall in aid of Church Funds. Help on the day appreciated and donations to the raffle, tombola, cake stall, bric a brac, jewellery etc also welcome. Come and enjoy the warm, friendly, Christmas atmosphere. Sunday 7th December Christmas at Marrick As usual, a bus will leave Nun’s Close car park at 6.00pm to take everyone to Marrick Priory for Christmas candle-lit entertainment and supper. Tickets are £8 plus £3 if taking the bus from Richmond, which are available from Eileen Baker 825765, Cathy Trewby 824468 or Judith Clarke 826793. This year we have bought waterproof clothing, wellingtons, some indoor games, a projector and supported one whole class, together with various individual children, with the bursary fund.
