We commend unto God’s merciful keeping those who have recently died including Nev Tate and Peter Robey. We pray that God will bring comfort to all who mourn their loss. The first three dates on the tour are in Bedale High School, St Francis Xavier School and Risedale Community College. Could you please host one of the actors on Sun 26th Feb, Mon 27th Feb or Tues 28th Feb evening. We ask hosts to provide bed and breakfast for their guests. IF people wish to provide an evening meal or access to their kitchen, this is an extra blessing but it is not compulsory. As a charity we cannot afford to pay for hospitality, but this is a great and hugely appreciated way to support Christian ministry in your area.

Our Lenten journey begins on 1st March this year. There will be a service of Holy Communion at 9:15 am and 7.30 pm on that day, which is Ash Wednesday. We then have Churches Together in Richmond Lent home groups you can join called “Receiving Christ – in five different ways”, commencing w/c 6th March. Session One Receiving Christ: as children of God. Session Two Receiving Christ: in the stranger and the needy Session Three Receiving Christ: in Holy Communion Session Four Receiving Christ: through prayer and fellowship Session Five Christ in you, the hope of glory There is a choice of four times and venues. It also raises money for Christian Aid’s valuable work. I have ordered some copies which will be at the back of church. Please take one and any money you put aside for Christian Aid can be given to Judith Barber, Anne Simpson or Graham Merlane at the end of Lent.
