PRAYER REQUESTS Please pray for: Those mentioned in the Daily Prayer Calendar in the magazine and Zoe Morison who is to be baptised today. All those in particular need of God’s comfort and healing, including, Bill Abbott, Liz Atkinson, Barbara Beatham, Jenny Beaumont, George Bell, Harry Bell, Dulcie Chamley, Jasmine Guy, Mary Hartnell, Jennifer Jackson, Adrian Marshall, Ann McDonald, Jennifer Mole, Bill Overall, Janet Smith, Kathleen Wappat, Gavin Wheldon, Josh Winch, Alfred Wood and all the patients at the Friary Hospital. We commend unto God’s merciful keeping those who have recently died including David White and Alan Job. We pray that God will bring comfort to all who mourn their loss. BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE – Any names to be entered in this Book should be given to Ann McDonald (01748 823223) along with the date of death and a donation of £5 Please let us know the names of anyone who is sick or struggling who you would like to add to our Prayer List. Please also let us know the names of those who you feel are ready to be taken off the list. We leave the names on until we are advised otherwise. The Friends of St Mary’s are once again holding a BBQ in church. Please come and support on Friday 8 th July at 7.00pm. The Fun-Key Church Pet Service is next week at 4pm (with refreshments and activities from 3.40pm) when we will be gathering with our pets or memories of pets and thanking God for the love which we share with them. Following their blessing, all our pets will receive a certificate. As well as all this, there will be crafts, activities, perhaps face-painting and the usual relaxed and friendly atmosphere. So even if you don't have a pet you are very very welcome - there will be plenty happening! Fun, faith and fellowship for all ages (shapes, sizes and breeds!). Gillian 07592016476

DATES FOR THE DIARY Sunday 19th June Free to Be at St Mary’s at 6.30pm. A contemplative worship event which gives space to think, pray, awaken the senses and simply be with God. Thursday 23rd June 7.00pm Palestinian Dance Troupe visits Harrogate. Baqoun are a talented Christian Palestinian Dance Troupe who are visiting UK in June under the auspices of the Diocese of West Yorkshire and the Dales. They will be performing at Christ Church, Harrogate. Tickets £10 including a light Palestinian-style supper can be bought on line; Anne Simpson is willing to arrange this for anyone who would like to go. We hope to 'car share'. More details in the June magazine. Sunday June 26th 1.00pm Christians Together in Richmond, Picnic in the Park. Everyone welcome to Ronaldshay Park Sunday 26th June 4.00pm Fun-Key Church annual Pet Service. All pets and their owners welcome. Friday 8th July 7.00pm Friends of St Mary’s BBQ. The speaker will be Bishop John Pritchard talking on Living Faithfully with Death. Sunday 18th September 10.00am Worship for All Harvest Service at St Mary’s.
