REMINDER – ANNUAL CHURCH REPORT 2015 Every year the diocese requires churches to provide a written record of their work during the previous year [i.e. 2013-14] It is usual to submit this before Annual Church Meetings are held. St Mary’s is no exception and must submit its report, which contains 16-17 short reports, before the Annual Church Meeting in April. So that it can be compiled in good time will those people who are responsible for providing one or more of the short reports please let me have them no later than Sunday 8th March, and earlier if possible. This is an interdenominational service with the theme, Jesus Said to Them: “Do You Know What I Have Done To You.” All are warmly welcome. Thursday 12th March 7.30pm Gilling West Gardening Society starts its new year programme with a talk in the Village Hall by Sarah Hopps (of BBC Radio York and Askham Bryan) on ‘Gardening to Delight the Senses.’ £3 for the evening, £10 for the year.
