Nine Lessons and Carols Sunday 20th December 6:30pm. This year we have the combined singers of the choir and Anacrusis to lead us in the service of traditional readings and Carols. We hope you will come along and join in singing your favourite Carols.
There is a poster on the cupboard at the back of church where you can display Christmas greetings and make a donation to Christian Aid in lieu of sending individual cards to your friends at St Mary’s. Donations can be given to Graham Merlane, Anne Simpson or Judith Barber. Don’t forget, the government is doubling all donations to Christian Aid this Christmas.
Sadly The Station Singers concert had to be postponed last Saturday due to the heavy snowfall. This has now been rescheduled for Saturday the 9th January 2016 and is still with the kind support and to benefit St Mary's Bell Appeal and Darlington Multiple Sclerosis Support Group. Tickets are £8 (£10 on the door) and doors will open at 7pm to start at 7.30pm. Please come along and listen to some belated Seasonal Music and enjoy the welcome refreshments.
