Fair Trade Stall today - the last one of the year. Don’t forget if you are on your own, Christmas Day Dinner is taking place on December 25th in the Town Hall, at 12.00. Donate to Christian Aid instead of sending Christmas Cards: As in previous years if you wish to write a card and display it at the back of church you may donate to Christian Aid in lieu between of extra cards and postage. This year the government will match any donations given between 7th November and 6th February so your money will be doubled!! Donations can be given to Anne Simpson, Graham Merlane or Judith Barber. John Blenkiron’s family have placed a Remembrance Tree in the grounds of their premises on Queens Road to enable the whole community to remember family and friends at Christmas time. Weather proof cards are available from the office, or out of hours from an outside container, and may be placed individually or left at the office to be put on the tree in memory of a loved one. The pop up gallery is open now at 10B Frenchgate, 11am4pm Tuesday to Saturday and 1pm-4pm Sunday. It is being staffed by volunteers and is only open until Christmas. A share of all the funds raised will go towards the Accessible Toilet Fund. After the Cards and Visitors Bereavement is a very difficult time for the spouse/partner left behind. Starting again on your own is even more difficult. If you feel you are ready to, please join Carrie (01748 850103) and Anne for coffee at Greyfriars on Tuesday 6th January at 10.30am.
