BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE – Any names to be entered in this Book should be given to Ann McDonald (01748 823223) along with the date of death and a donation of £5 Sunday 6th September Bishop James will dedicate the new Mothers’ Union Banner at our Patronal Festival. Following this Bishop James will be joining members and friends of the MU at the King’s Head for lunch at 12.30pm. Cost £15.95 for a 3 course meal & tea or coffee. Holy Trinity Chapel, in the market place, will be open for quiet rest and prayer, Monday to Saturday, from 12 noon to 1.00pm during the month of August. Everyone is welcome.

In this very relaxed and informal service we will have hymns, songs, stories, crafts and space just to enjoy worshipping God. We look forward to welcoming friends old and new. On Sunday 13th September we bid farewell to Antony and Debbie at our evening service at 6.30pm in St Mary's Church. Cafe Church @ St Mary's - Coming soon. Our first service will be on Sunday 20th September at 4pm when our speaker will be Bishop John Pritchard. He retired as Bishop of Oxford at the end of last year but continues with a teaching, preaching and writing ministry. His books include 'How to Pray', 'Living Jesus', 'God Lost and Found', 'The Journey' and 'The Intercessions Handbook'. John and Wendy now worship with us at St Mary's. We look forward very much to hearing him speak, to a time of discussion and a quiet service of compline at the end.
