After the Cards and Visitors Bereavement is a very difficult time for the spouse/partner left behind. Starting again on your own is even more difficult. If you feel you are ready to, please join Carrie (01748 850103) and Anne for coffee at Greyfriars on Tuesday 7 th October at 10.30am. Fun-Key Church Today at 4pm, with MU refreshment from 3.40pm. We will be celebrating Harvest and have lots planned for during the service. Donations of long-life food for The Storehouse would be lovely. If you have never been to Fun-Key Church before, why not come along and join us for really relaxed fun, faith and fellowship for all ages. Afterwards we will be having a Bring to Share supper which we would love as many people to come to as possible. If you know what food you might bring for the supper please let Claire or Gillian know. Thursday 2nd October There is no Study Group this week Friday 3rd October, 7.30pm at the Methodist Church Hall. A performance by plain quaker theatre projects in support of Anti Slavery International. Suggested donation £5. Tuesday 7th October 10.30am Greyfriars (see notice above).
Friday 17th October The Friends of St Mary’s Quiz to be held at the Cricket Club 7.30pm onwards. Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for children to include a pie and peas supper. Tickets Margaret Emmerson, Frank Gibbon or Liz Chambers. Saturday 18th October Christian Aid Coffee Morning in the Town Hall. St. Mary’s slot is 10.40am - noon. Saturday 18th October at 7.30pm. A Concert by The Dalesfolk, in aid of Hudswell Gardening Club and St Mary’s DAT Fund, in Hudswell Village Hall. Tickets £5 includes refreshments, tea/coffee, cake.
