To all Parish Magazine distributors The Communications Team is compiling an updated list of all those members of the congregation who currently collect the parish magazines from St Mary's each month and distribute them to the members of the congregation on their lists. They aim to tackle poverty and injustice by working in partnership with local Christian churches and organizations to support child welfare, education, social care and medical care. Next Sunday at 6.00pm in St Mary’s, Illuminate, an informal and relaxed contemporary service. Speaker Paul Conn. Please join the Mothers’ Union on Tuesday 1st December at 2.00pm for their Deanery Advent Service. This will be followed by tea, scones and the cake from the Celebration Eucharist held on Tuesday at Ripon Cathedral. Come and join us on Saturday 12th December for an evening of Festive Song led by The Station Singers. Presented by St Mary's Richmond Bell Appeal and the Darlington Multiple Sclerosis Support Group. Advent Evening Prayer All are welcome to join in this Advent prayer of singing, listening, prayer and reflection – no experience of Taize singing necessary! We will be praying in particular for refugees and prisoners of conscience. Friday 11th December – Decorating the church for Christmas. The Flower Guild will be in church from 10.00am and would appreciate any help which could be given, whether dressing window sills, making arrangements or making coffee for everyone.
