This morning’s service is for everyone and if needed there is a children’s area at the back of church. There is an induction loop system in the church for those who would find it useful.

We will be looking at the healing of the man by the pool. Plenty of crafts, art, decorating food, seed planting, lettuce spinning art, a short talk, prayers, hymns and a very relaxed atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming all ages.

The Charity of the Month collection on 2nd and 9th June is for UMNHET (United Mission to Nepal Hospitals Endowment Trust). Please give generously. Christian Aid Week. Thank you to all the collectors. If you have not received an envelope and would like to donate there are envelopes available at the back of church. The Fashion Show that was to have taken place at Trinity Academy on 8th June has regrettably been postponed.

There are numbers readily available. We would welcome anyone willing to be a Collector – the immediate point of contact and to collect the subscription (£10 per year) from members – very especially anyone who would cover Hudswell. Our Church Coffee Morning is fast approaching: Thursday 13th June in the Town Hall. Books, DVDs, Jigsaws, Cakes, Raffle and Tombola prizes will be most gratefully received. Offers of help in the kitchen to Margaret Clayson and on stalls to Susan Scrafton, please. Come and enjoy a coffee with friends and help raise much needed funds. Richmond Information Centre (RIC) Coffee Morning at the Town Hall on Saturday 8th June 8.30 – 12 noon The organisers would be grateful for help on the day. Time slots are 8.15–10.00 and 10.00–12 noon. Volunteers for the earlier time slot would be appreciated. There will be a cake stall and raffle. Please call Pam Heseltine on 823558.


DATES FOR THE DIARY Thursday 30th May, Ascension Day, Deanery Fun Afternoon, 2-4pm at Easby Abbey, with something for everyone. Followed by worship at St Agatha’s church, Easby led by Bishop Helen-Ann. Ascension Day Holy Communion at St Mary’s is at 7pm. Friday 31st May - Sunday 8th June. Deanery Thy Kingdom Come Pilgrimage. Walks throughout the week visiting all the churches in the Deanery. List of walks and dates available at the back of church and on our website. Saturday 22nd June at 3.00pm. Reeth Brass Band with Afternoon Tea in St Mary’s Church, in aid of Mothers Union. Tickets now on sale £7 from Margaret Clayson, Christine Stedman and Susan Scrafton.
