If you are new to the area and worshipping with us for the first time, then we would very much appreciate it if you would fill in one of the welcome cards and leave it with one of the sidespersons or at the back of the Church on the table. Prayers for the Week:! Those mentioned in the Daily Prayer Calendar in the Magazine. For Emillie Brown to be baptised here today and for Rob Foyle and Louise Reed married here yesterday. We pray that God will bring comfort and healing to those who are sick: Gordon Garfoot, John Blenkiron, Adam Gedye, Janet Smith, Mark Willey, Enid Anderson and all the patients at the Friary Hospital. We commend unto God’s merciful keeping those who have recently died including David Sellars and Dave Morton. We pray that God will bring comfort to their families and all who mourn them. Harvest Produce Many thanks for all the food, flowers and produce which have been provided for our festival today. The dry and tinned goods will be taken to the Food Bank during next week. Arrangements are in place for the produce to be taken to St John’s Centre at Catterick Garrison, where lunches are made three days each week for the older members of our community who welcome support. The Wednesday Study Group Resumes on 18th September at 2 Hurgill Road. During this Autumn we will be looking at the books of James, 1 Peter and 2 Peter. Please see Scott for more details, 01748 826895. Posada Our Posada knitted Mary and Joseph have been on their travels since last Christmas. They have already been to Egypt, Turkey, Russia, Japan, France, Lands End, London, Glasgow, and Wales. If you are travelling anywhere interesting before they need to rejoin us at Christmas and you have a small space in your luggage, please contact Scott, 01748 826895. Hudswell Village Fete As part of our stall at the Fete we will be decorating jam jars, if you have some spare jars available or are prepared to collect some between now and Sept 21st we would be most grateful.
