welcome from president brooks Greetings, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I am so excited! It's unbelievable that a year has gone so fast since we last came together. This year for the Congress of Christian Education we have classes I believe that will help you in your Christian walk. So that we will be able to continue to be able to fulfill the mandate of Jesus Christ.

welcome from dean mccall Welcome to our Annual Session of the Pride of the West District Association Congress of Christian Education Conference. Our Theme for this year is "Envisioning the Future Exceptionally Through Christian Evangelism and Discipleship in the Pandemic Age"(Jeremiah 29:11, Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8).

We thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to attend this year’s session. We are pleased to have certified teachers who will be teaching courses that are geared towards the Certificate of Progress Program (COPP) ; it is a part of the National Baptist Congress of Christian of Education Convention and a part of the Sunday School Publishing Board.

We were also delighted to have the faculty and staff from the Faith International University and Seminary teaching during this year's Congress of Christian Education.

It is our hope and prayer that you will gain knowledge and understanding of the Word of God and that you will grow in your personal relationship in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Speaker Bio .

Dr. L. A. Kessee is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana and a graduate of Union High School. He received a B.A. Degree from Bishop College in Dallas, Texas; the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry Degrees from Faith International College and Seminary, Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Kessee formerly Pastored in the states of Texas and Pennsylvania.

Currently Dr. Kessee serves as President and CEO of L. A. Kessee Preaching and Teaching Ministries located in Los Angeles, California. Furthermore, Dr. Kessee has served as Vice-President at Large, and President of the Baptist Ministers’ Conference of Los Angeles and Southern California. And…for 5 years Dr. Kessee was an instructor in WHW Expository Preaching Conference, teaching “The Art of Intonation.”

Moreover, Dr. Kessee has served his country preaching for the United States’ Defense Department—Department of Air Force (Preaching to the personnel of the United States Air Force in Europe (U.S.A.F.E.) in Wiesbaden, Germany; Salzburg, Austria; and Kaiserslautern, Germany). Dr. Kessee currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Charlee and sons, Richie and Aaron Todd.

They have 3 older sons, Lee, Patrick, Tony and one daughter, Coshari of Dallas, Texas.
