Mini Catalog Invitation – Full Of Big Fun! We heard you! Thanks to your great feedback, we’ve developed a super-cute Mini Catalog Invitation, just in time for the Fall/Winter selling season! It will feature our top 25 products and Fall/Winter favorites. You’ll see old favorites like the Skirt Purse and the Market Thermal Tote and sure-to-be new favorites like the Expand-A-Tote Day Extender – and many more! The Mini Catalog Invitation can be sealed and mailed as a party invitation or handed out to potential customers and Hostesses to get them excited about all things Thirty-One! (Mini Catalog No. 1004 – Pack of 40/$5)

Leather – A Luxurious Addition We’re excited to announce that a few of our new fall products have real leather as their fabrication and trim. It’s a fantastic upgrade that adds a special something extra. Let your customers know today!

New Men’s Line – Bold And Stylish Accents You asked for it, and we’ve created it – a Thirty-One Men’s Line! We’ve included the XXXI Professional Tote with leather, XXXI Messenger Bag, Leather Bi-Fold Wallet – and more. We’ve created a new logo for this line to give it a bold look that our male customers will love!

New Thread Colors – Cozy Colors Lend New Warmth! We’re featuring two NEW thread colors this season – Oatmeal and Misty Blue. They’ll add a warm tone to our Fall/Winter collection while still coordinating with our darling existing prints! (These new colors will replace the Sandstone and Cadet Blue thread colors.)

Personalization Updates – Personalization On Popular Products

Due to the ever-increasing cost of fuel and raw materials, our personalization cost per item has increased to $7. And, instead of offering personalization on products that are almost never chosen for personalization, we will be focusing on updating the styles of some of your customers’ favorite Thirty-One products that will drive more sales for you. We will still be offering plenty of fun personalization options on many of our products … and offer some cute new style tweaks! As you let your customers and Hostesses know this, please tell them this allows us to provide better quality personalization and less returns on the items they love. Here’s a link to product selections not available for personalization. Please note: for the existing products on the list, we’ve had the fewest percentage of personalization requests for these items. Know that we still offer plenty of fun personalization options on many of our products!


31Kids – Some News For You The response from customers to 31Kids was exciting out of the gate but then sales quickly fell off. So, after careful review, we’ve decided to discontinue this product line. We’re dedicated to putting our efforts toward product lines that are most popular with our customers and Hostesses, as well as bringing in new lines with the best potential. We’re listening and responding to what your customers want most!

Product Price Update – Update Your Customers Today As you know, we consistently strive to keep our prices low, while offering products of excellent quality and value. We want to make you aware there will be an increase in a small number of our products. We negotiated and held prices for a year, but raw materials, including cotton, and fuel costs have been increasing, and that affects our production costs. Even with this increase, we’re still very competitive in the marketplace and we offer a great assortment of styles and values!”

Catalog Ordering Information – Pick Up A Pack Soon! The Fall/Winter Catalog is available to order beginning July 18 and will be effective from July 25, 2011, to January 31, 2012. THIRTY-ONE Gives – The Common Thread In All We Do We’re thrilled to share that Thirty-One Gives has been established to take our giving to a whole new level. Thirty-One Gives was created to honor founder Cindy Monroe’s commitment to pay forward the many blessings Thirty-One has been given since it began in 2003. In the spirit in which the company was founded, Thirty-One Gives will focus on supporting women, girls and families – specifically focusing on two areas: • Women and Girl’s Self-Esteem: Thirty-One Gives will focus on promoting the selfesteem of women and girls, with a strong emphasis on financial self-confidence to empower women to believe in themselves and achieve their dreams. We’ll also focus on mentoring young girls to grow up with a strong sense of self. • Supporting Mothers and Families: Thirty-One Gives will support programs that honor mothers and promote the health and well-being of families. We are currently working on a plan for developing philanthropic programs and national partnerships to engage our Thirty-One family all across the country in our charitable giving. Look for some exciting new programs and announcements soon!

Events – National Conference 2012 – Atlanta! National Conference 2012: It’s going to be incredible – be there! It’s never too soon to start planning for next year’s National Conference! Our National Conference will be in Atlanta August 1-4, 2012! Get ready for the celebration of the year!

Presidential Advisory Council & Leadership Council – Ideas + Innovation + Inspirational Leaders We continue to be REALLY inspired and SO thankful to the incredibly helpful members of our Presidential Advisory Council (PAC) and Leadership Council (LC). Members of both of these councils provide fantastic feedback which the Home Office uses to create training, programs, policies and amazing products! Our Leadership Council Meeting will be held in March 2012. PAC will NOW be a quarterly meeting. Three of the meetings will be held in Columbus, Ohio, and the fourth meeting will be held in an exciting location to be announced soon! The new members of PAC are top Thirty-One performers at any level (from Consultant to Senior Executive Director). Based on our national recognition period from June 2010 through May 2011, the following criteria are used to select our PAC members: The top 3 Consultants in 5 of our Award categories are chosen to be part of PAC: Dream Builders, Team Sales, Personal Volume and Consistent Sales – and a NEW category of Bonus Earner. The top Consultant in our Top Party category is also invited to be part of the team. If there is a tie or a multiple category earner, we may select additional members from these categories for a total of 16 participants. Please note, this is the last year (2011/2012) Top Party will be a category.


The Members of Leadership Council are top performing Directors and above from the following categories: • Top 25 Directors in Consistent Sales • Top 25 Directors in Personal Volume • Top 25 Directors in Dream Builders • Top 10 Directors in Team Sales • Top 10 Directors in Bonus Earners • Top 10 Directors in Top Party (This is the last year (2011-2012,) that top party will be a category.)

Three Cheers for Celebrate & Connect Our Celebrate & Connect program has been VERY successful and we’re happy to tell you it’s continuing! If you’re new to Thirty-One, Celebrate & Connect is a bi-monthly meeting that gives you the chance to get together and learn amazing new Thirty-One training tips. PLUS all active Consultants receive an exciting amenity for attending a Celebrate & Connect meeting! Anyone at the Director level and above can host a meeting and any Consultant can attend. How popular are these meetings? Check out these statistics to see! • On average 45% of the field attends C&C meetings. This is an industry high! • In July 2010, there were 330 meetings held. In July 2011, there were 2,000 meetings!

Leadership - Empowerment - Accountability - Development We love our LEAD team, an amazing group of experienced professionals who serve as Home Office coaches. They support field leadership and empower them to achieve success in life, leadership and personal business. We’re hearing great response from leaders. The program is working well and we’ve even heard feedback you want more! In an effort to make sure our newest Directors are supported in every way, we’re working on plans for future enhancements that may include: Group Training, Group Coaching and One-on-One sessions for new Directors.
