In 2005 the company received an international ISO 9001:2001 certificate confirming that UAB MESKENAS has implemented a certified quality management system. Dried products: Drying is one of the meat processing methods having the most deep-rooted traditions, while dried products are justly considered to be the national pride of Lithuania. BIOVELA intercepts and cherishes national heritage, by special equipment and advanced technology restores natural conditions for maturing of dried products. Dried products are characteristic of high nutritional and energy value. The product, which is being dried, naturally becomes dry; therefore, a higher amount of proteins and fats is preserved, carcinogens are avoided, which are accumulated while smoking meat products. The maturing process is stimulated by active bacterial cultures, which not only regulate biochemical processes that form the quality of final product, but also have a positive impact on human intestine micro flora. The concentration of proteins, microelements and vitamins in dried products is almost twice higher than in fresh meat.
Marinated meat products, prepared for baking in the package: Meat products are ready for baking in the oven with the package. Meat of the most valuable parts of the pork and beef has been marinated for several days. Spices used for marinade are carefully selected according to the different meat flavour properties. Meat remains tender, juicy and flavourful!
