#APPENDIX: After a month of falling into the sciences and holding the first meeting, mentioning the formation of the group in the Vokieciu g. In Vilnius, more and more fiercely to join our four future work, we meet with Gytis October 14th. From now on, future meetings will be further refined on Saturdays, taking into account the convenient time for all of our group members. The meeting starts at ten o’clock in the morning, but Pipiras and Žilviai are already late; they are enjoying the trip and in the good future they will visit Elektrnai for a cup of coffee and tobacco, and look at the future work.
Coming soon BrainStorm starts soon. Let’s review what everyone did in a week. Žilvinas suggests, by showing his created collages, that it is an idea to use neglected ventilator breathtakers of Vilnius hideouts with an attractive look and feel as a lighthouse to show the coziness and concern for people on the street who have no place to return to and where. Gytis and Giorgi have already prepared a short video on YouTube, which shows the comic nature of the situation by misleading people’s thinking and understanding. The idea, the idea, adapt a concept similar to a future project, a mild form of masking the “Human” as an absurdly understood or accomplished subject. “BrainStorm” is coming to its forehead, it starts to name just about the head-to-head: the world and white mythology, the creation of the world, the mystery of eggs, the trinity, the number three, its repeated in Lithuanian literature, Christianity, and Baltic mythology. This implies the idea that three dimensions should be depicted: who we were, who we are and who we are, or where we can go from the current point of view.
A lunch break, a food order, a thick Japanese whiskey, which was pulled out of a jar from the bar for pleasure and a little indulgence to the pipe tobacco, along with the bee no doubt. In the afternoon there are some ideas that some worthy of greater attention are illustrated by hand on paper. Several possible places are selected for implementation of the project, they will discuss what works until the next Saturday, and agree on the tenth hour. from morning to Giorgi

RESEARCH The Lighthouse of Alexandria
The Lighthouse of Alexandria, sometimes called the Pharos of Alexandria , was a lighthouse built by the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 280 and 247 BC which was in the region of 100 metres in overall height.[1] One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, for many centuries it was one of the tallest man-made structures in the world. Badly damaged by three earthquakes between AD 956 and 1323, it then became an abandoned ruin. It was the third longest surviving ancient wonder (after the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus and the extant Great Pyramid of Giza) until 1480, when the last of its remnant stones were used to build the Citadel of Qaitbay on the site. In 1994, French archaeologists discovered some remains of the lighthouse on the floor of Alexandria’s Eastern Harbour.[2] The Ministry of State of Antiquities in Egypt has planned, as of late 2015, to turn submerged ruins of ancient Alexandria, including those of the Pharos, into an underwater museum

#APPENDIX: We meet with Giorgi to further develop the idea. Within a week, each member of the group was seized to collect as much information as possible by filtering out the most important and interesting of the most interesting topics offered during BrainStorm. A deeper, more concentrated analysis was conducted. The third protocol is now being completed in a circle to be completed by everyone.
By the end of the day, a work plan is decided to look at what we did not do in a week, to rethink ideas, to analyze areas - places where the project can be implemented. Each member briefly presents the basic facts found, the most important information, and then goes on to the circle, who says what he likes most, not only in his work, but also in others. While Giorgi is doing all the lunch, the discussion moves to the kitchen. Made in Italian pasta with red wine sauce. The food is cooked for two hours, it’s important to have a good bake paste. During this time, there is a fierce debate - a small controversy in the defense of the topics that you like - ideas.
In the afternoon, whoever likes most is made up, written and finalized. The next steps are the stage of project implementation, form and location search. Plans A, B, and C are made with scripts if you do not get any ideas. Plan A: Implement the project in the reservoir of the Vilnius reservoir, to understand the subtleties Plan B: Implement the project with light German g. or Neris quays Plan C: Choose a place and implement the idea of disseminating information at the VGTU Faculty of Architecture.

CONCEPT Lighthouse as social experiment: •
Lighthouse serves as information center for homeless people.
•
Lighthouse is a spot to take away food, clothes and other charity stuff.
• Homeless people would never contact directly to people who contribute. (Just like a lighthouse doesn’t have contact with ships, its more like a guidline.) • Based on author J.Biliūnas „Laimės žiburys“ shortstory (people sacrifice themselves to achieve better life for others). •
Even if the :charity lighthouse: will be broken, or stolen, it‘s still an experiment.
•
Negative result is also result.
• Homeless people as lost ships, and social lighthouse could change their life, show the right way. • Social lighthouse not as final result, but a process, where every person who contribute is lighthouse keeper. Žilvinas Stasiulevičius

THE LETTER #Application: (Letter) From: Žilvinas Stasiulevičius [mailto: zilvinas.stasiulevicius@stud.vgtu.lt] Sent: Saturday, October 28, 2017 2:50 PM To: Raimonda Strazdauskaite <Raimonda.Strazdauskaite@vv.lt> Subject: Possibility to prepare installation in Liepkalnis water storage
Good day, Rammond introduce us University: VGTU. Department of Architecture. the trustee: Kęstutis Lupeikis, Lada Markejevaitė. Students: Žilvinas Stasiulevičius, Gytis Vidžiūnas, Antanas Pipiras, Giorgi Nishnianidze. We write about the possibilities of installing artistic installation in Liepkalnis water storage, taking advantage of the interior space of this water storage, without physically abusing or violating it. Before proceeding with the project, we could provide information on: • Required permissions for the facility; • conditions for the implementation of the concept; • What additional requirements could arise? We would like to receive information: • how long it takes to receive permits; • whether project proposals for obtaining a permit are needed; • What should we submit from the university. Our activities are planned to be carried out by simple means, without prejudice to the current state of the item. Waiting for your reply. Have a nice day. Thanks.

ANSWER
(Answer) ---------- Forwarded message ---------From: Raimonda Strazdauskaite <Raimonda.Strazdauskaite@vv.lt> Date: 2017-10-30 16:32 GMT + 02: 00 Subject: RE: Due to the possibility to install installation in Liepkalnis water storage To: Žilvinas Stasiulevičius <zilvinas.stasiulevicius@stud.vgtu.lt> Good day, Zilvinas We are glad to be interested in our water storage. We open it twice a year, in spring and in autumn. To date, it has been an open door, so that we can show the widest possible coverage to the public at the lowest cost. Other projects have not yet been made available, but whatever the need arises, if the ideas meet our expectations, we would try to consider. I’m trying to answer your questions and at the same time check in. I think it’s best to chat with you, because your phone. no. Not specified, I would wait for your call. Before launching the project, you could provide information on: • Required permissions for the facility; - What do you mean by “permissions”? The object is freed, cleaned, prepared by the colleagues and then disinfected and connected to the system; This is a costly process, so we have set just two days of open days per year. • conditions for the implementation of the concept; - what concept? Maybe you can tell more about the type of space you are looking for? What ideas do you use? Have you been inside Acquainted that there is no lighting inside, the generator is needed and so on. • What additional requirements could arise? - what type of installation? What topic? Thinking for a few days

MATERIALS • At first It was decided to use wood, pine beams and glued panels (OSB) for the initial construction material. but as a result of more detailed analysis of the material, we understood it was not sustainable to use wooden construction, because our aim was to save our resources. After that it was decided to work with cardboard. Light house Interior requires reflective light and reflective mirror material to express the main idea, several options was tested including chrome spray, but at the end most effective result was provided by mylar light reflective sheets.

FORM Through the process of form finding we had couple of ideas, most characteristic was this three ideas, form resembling an egg, water droplet and star, latest was allegory about the northern star, guide of travellers since ancient times, mysticism of an egg was expressing seamless surface self-contained object without any corners. Water as scientifically is the sign of life, inspired as to create shape like its crystal. Idea of Star was abandoned because of it’s pretentious, questioning form The egg shape did not support our concept much at the end so it was abandoned as well. Finally we decided to go with idea of water crystal and develop it in to more conceptual original form.

Page 95
STRUCTURE at the beginning the pine beam was an initial bearing structure, on top of it we would attach cheap board sheets. • The analysis of lacquer and fixing joints has been observed as difficult to make. The wood should be joined with metal rings, which in some ways requires (welding fixing with screws, making joints). • wood as a structural material takes time and is not sufficiently sustainable and environmentally friendly. • By connecting the cardboard panels with special joints, a basic structure works as a shell.

IDEA the common thoughts of our team is presented in a clean, solid form, which symbolizes and represents Ideas: the creation of the world, the mystery of the egg, the droplet of water as the beginning of life, the mystical number three in Lithuanian literature, the Christian trinity, the Baltic mythology, “who we were, what we are and where we go with that. during the process we had many ideas but in the end it was crystallised in to one object which symbolises the light house. The project is dualism between internal and external. Exterior as a massive, fundamentally brutal, minimal, iconic object, on the contrary interior creates personal intimate space.
