The Yamta is a hand knotted rug coming from Nepal, completely in very good wools; then it is very strong and it doesn't shedding. The density of the knots, in comparison to the average of the Nepalese rugs is rather tall: 120 for decimetre square. They characterize for the warm and very pleasant colors and for the very soft wool. It is used in fact Yak wool hand twisted mixed to the precious wools of the Tibetans Plateau Sheep. The patterns have been created by Italian designer and they are based on the Art Déco. The "carving" effect, typical of the Nepalese rugs, contributes to give prominence to the different colors of rug. It's proper to also be used in interiors with high transit
