How to Register A NEW Member—Girl Use these instructions to register a girl who is NEW to Girl Scouts. If she has been a member in the past, even if she took a break and is now returning, use the “Current & Past Members” button to register.

Step 1—Click on “New Member”.

Step 2—Click on “Become A Member”.

How to Register A NEW Member—Girl Continued Step 3–Fill out the profile for the person you are registering.

A couple of helpful hints:  Everything in Bold with an * is required. 

Our system uses the US Postal Service to verify addresses. If you get an error double check the way it is entered.



When entering the phone number do not add any spaces or symbols between the numbers.

Step 4—Create Login information for the account.

When you enter the username be sure you click on “Check Username” to make sure what you chose is available.

Step 5–Once you have entered all the information click on “Create Profile”.

How to Register A NEW Member—Girl Continued Step 6—Once you put in all the information and create profile it will ask you select a product for the person you are registering. Select the appropriate product based on whom you are registering.

Since you are registering a girl click on the green “Girl Membership 2012”.

Step 7—Once you click on the product it will take you to a page with more detail click on “Add to Cart”.

Step 8—Click on “Check Out”.

How to Register A NEW Member—Girl Continued Step 9—The next step is to complete the Membership Profile.

When you click on the School Field it will bring up a search window for you to type in the school name. To search you must click on the search button; hitting enter after typing the school name will not work. If you can not find the school try searching by the first few letters or use “Other”.

“In Custodial Care of” is a drop down box. If you select “Both” then you will need to fill in information for both Guardians. If you select either “Mother Only” or “Father Only” then you only need to fill in Guardian-1 Information.

Remember fields labeled in bold with a * are required to continue.

If entering a second Guardian use this to copy the address from above or enter in a different address.

A phone number is required if you are entering a second guardian, even though it is not bold.

Not required please do not re-enter the guardian information from above here.

This should be someone other then the Guardians. This is not required to continue.

Step 10—Click on “Save” to continue.

Step 11—PaymentThe order line for the product you are purchasing.

Enter in your credit card information.

Process Payment.

After the payment is processed it will give you a receipt. You can print this for your records. Next watch your email.

Step 12—When you register online as NEW it will register you to the state. Girls do not have a section to enter a troop number. This is for the security of the leader so girls are not signing up for the troop without the leaders knowing they are interested in joining.

If you are NEW please watch your email and follow the link to the Adobe Form. Please fill out the information on this form so we know how to place you in our system in order to serve you better.

Step 13—Complete the Adobe Form. We ask for some of the same information again on this form so we know we are pulling up the correct membership.

A “Juliette” is an individually registered girl.
